Advantages relatable amazing catchy
Disadvantages not everyone likes how 'hard' it is
My Chemical Romance are honestly my favourite band of all time. I'm not one to typically be into the more 'emo' type of music, but I love them. I have been a fan of My Chemical Romance since the age of 8 and still am today. I have loved them since their first album, but this one by far is my favourite.
My Chemical Romance started recording this album April 10, 2006 with Rob Cavallo, producer of many of Green Day's amazing albums. On August 3rd, 2006, the band completed the videos for their first two singles from the album 'Welcome to the Black Parade' and 'Famous Last Words'. In 'Welcome to the black parade' and on a lot of tours, the band would often perform under the name "The Black Parade", wearing the costumes seen in the album's music videos. Gerard Way (The lead singer) would adopt the persona of the leader of the marching band, 'The Black Parade', and vary his behaviour and performance.~ The Album Overview ~
The album was made for people to relate to. My Chemical Romance wrote this so many people from all over the world could listen to the songs and relate to them and also realise that there is hope out there. I think this is an incredible concept. My Chemical Romance have actually saved lives because of their music. I know I was once at a low point in my life, but when I listened to their music it made me feel amazing and like things could get better, I know it's hard to believe. All of the songs are very catchy and all have a different meaning.~ The Songs ~
There are 14 tracks on this album (Including the bonus track) The tracks include:1. The End
2. Dead
3. This is how I disappear
4. The sharpest lives
5. Welcome to the Black Parade
6. I don't love you
7. House of wolves
8. Cancer
9. Mama
10. Sleep
11. Teenagers
12. Disenchanted
13. Famous Last Words
14. Blood (Hidden track)
The End - This song is the first track on the CD and sets the mood for the CD. It's rather slow and is very catchy.
Dead - This is one of my MCR favourites. The song is very fast and catchy. This is how i disappear - Another one of my favourites. The song is constantly in my head and I love it.
The sharpest lives - this song begins with the lead singer Gerard Way speaking and then they begin to sing. Again, the song is always in my head.Welcome to the black parade - this is one of the two singles from the album. It's about a man who dies and when he's dead sees the band 'The Black Parade' play. It's a really good song.
I don't love you - This is my all time favourite song. I honestly can't describe my love for it. If you've ever had a broken heart I'm sure you can relate to the lyrics. It's about someone who's about to be left by their partner and there is so much emotion in the song.House of wolves - this is a catchy song which I always dance too.
Cancer - This is one of the saddest songs ever written. It's obviously about Cancer. It honestly touches my heart every single time and brings a tear to my eye. A lot of people know of someone whom has been affected by Cancer, so a lot of people can relate.Detailed Rating
