... Welcome to the Black Parade: The song that everyone has heard, and the reason I decided to get the album. The sweet, soft intro with just a keyboard and vocals slowly builds into an anthem with soft drums and guitar, with rhythmic, well-thought-out lyrics, and a catchy tune. The first part of the song ends with Gerard shouting the same tune again with full backing from the guitars and drums. Then the second part starts. Much more bouncy ...
...the word "blood" much too many times. Definitely the weakest link in the album. I never listen to it. What else can I say? You NEED this album! The Black Parade outstrips even the band's "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge", which is also an outstanding album. Buy it now! ... Read review

...listening to their album 'The Black Parade', I cannot seem to find any other word to associate this New-Jersey rock band. Yes, E-M-O. But don't get me wrong, I have nothing against My Chemical Romance, I actually love this band very much. Disadvantages: Sometimes a bit soppy and sad

...times. Welcome to the black parade - Piano ballard, but turns into a guitar solo and fast drum beats. I don't love you - Very sad song, 'slow dance' sort of feel. House of wolves - The most original song in the album, some of the band's parents do backup vocals. Syntesizer + Piano Cancer - Sombre, dark song about cancer. Only instrument that plays is the piano. Mama - Heavy metal, rocking guitar. Has a bit of Liza Minelli in it too. Sleep - ...
...Teenagers - Strange lyrics, very shouty. Disenchanted - Another sad song with a 'slow dance' feel to it. It's just a "sad song with nothing to say" Famous last words. -Gets very rocky then really quiet. I got it for £10, and still listen to atleast 1 of the songs each day. A lot of people believe that My Chemical Romance are simply a group that inspires troublesome teenagers to want to hurt themselves, but being a teenager myself I have enjoyed this album without feeling an urge to commit self-harm. ...good song to start 'The Black Parade'. Slow and pretty boring - it didn't impress me when this was the first song I listened to on the album. Dead! Meant to deliberately contrast to 'The End' and it does - even in terms of quality. This song is much more upbeat with a good rhythm and is good to sing along to.
