The Black Parade by my Chemical Romance is their Second Album to hit the shelves. It take on the difficult task of following their brilliant debut album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, they take it head on and knock it out! The Black Parade is truly an epic album in my eyes; it is one I will remember when I sit at home looking through my old CD collection in 30 years time.

The lyrics while dire and quite lifeless, are put with the melody to form a really memorable tune. They sing of death but the musicians are full of life.

For a good length of time this was my favourite CD and I listened to it constantly, but I regret that now as the songs become irritating after the 30th time. I'm not kidding, it drew me in for a month and every day I'd listen to it at least once, it's like an addiction.

The album artwork really is candy for the eye, you could spend some time just looking at the way the band interprets what they think "The Black Parade" would be like, but it's pretty creepy in places.
