This album contains five new songs and the rest are new remixes of previous hits from Michael Jackson. I’m not a particularly big fan of remixes, but as far as they go, these remixes are good. However, the main attraction here has to be the new songs. The first time I listened to the new songs, I was totally stunned. These songs sound totally unlike anything Jackson has previously released and they are truly stunning. I was particularly impressed by ‘Morphine’, which is a very dark track. There is one point in the middle where the dark mood of the song is suddenly broken for a brief moment before resuming – this track was so intense it was unbelievable. The rest of the new tracks are just as good and this album is definitely worth buying.
