This is an interesting piece of music, IF you can call it music. It's a hybrid between cut scenes that you may get from the television, and a mix tape. Advantages: A CD that can open up your mind, almost quite literally. Disadvantages: Could be too sadistic for some.
This is an interesting piece of music, IF you can call it music. It's a hybrid between cut scenes that you may get from the television, and a mix tape. The material is from BBC Radio 1, must have been on late in the night. Some of this material was on the television in the form of the mini-series, Jam. This was on Channel 4, and if you had watched it, you were probably in need of psychiatric counselling afterwards.
Music from The Propellerheads ... ...the death of various Radio 1 DJs (don't worry, it's not real) such as Chris Moyles, Jo Whiley, Mary-Anne Hobbs and Simon Mayo (thank god he won't be on Radio 1 for much longer, along with the death of 'The Fist Of Cox' on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show, Hee Hee!!)
Be warned some of the contents are quite explicit with large quantities of the F word appearing in high density but not in everything, but it doesn't need to be.

Music from The Propellerheads features a lot in this, within the 21 scenes, including the death of various Radio 1 DJs (don't worry, it's not real) such as Chris Moyles, Jo Whiley, Mary-Anne Hobbs and Simon Mayo (thank god he won't be on Radio 1 for much longer, along with the death of 'The Fist Of Cox' on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show, Hee Hee!!)

This is probably worse than the ill-fated track on Fatboy Slim's second album, "You've come a long way, baby", yes you do know which track I'm referring to, but this is a whole album. I don't mean the album's bad, but I mean that it is rather profane in its expression, on many levels.
When I first listened to this, some scenes nearly killed me, because I was laughing so much, but I suspect others wouldn't react in the same way like myself, others just plain disturbed me. To others, the disturbing thing is that I keep listening to it on a fairly regular basis, after they heard it too...
"I'm only 4..." "He killed the man!" "Chopped Up Maaannn, Chopped Up Maannn... [Squelch]"
Fantastic, easily makes anybody who was angelic psychotic quickly. But be warned, I really do mean what I say about how gross and disturbing it is. But still get it, if you are curious because you shan't be disappointed once you explore the CD.
Advantages: the mind-melting indecipherable segues between the sketches. Disadvantages: not for everyone (understatement of the century)
whatever you think of this album, you'll think something... it's not an experience anyone is ever going to forget, descending into the twisted genius of chris morris. there is something i think everyone could like on this album... it's just that, for some, some of the material will go a little too far. tracks called "bad sex" illustrate my point exactly, an excerpt: "stick your balls up my nose" will show you why the queen's probably not chris' biggest ...
