Advantages: Pure rocking-blues heaven Disadvantages: Eric Clapton's more famous.
...What do you think of when you hear the name Gary Moore? Rock? Blues? I just think GUITAR! So when perusing my local music shop and coming across "AfterHours" I expected to be in for a ear bashing of rock oriented, blues based, guitar driven music extravaganza......I was right.
AfterHours is an inspired album from an artist at his peak. Pure molten blues with the kind of edge to it that Eric Clapton can only dream of. Gary plays his Les Paul, incidently worth almost £30000, like theres no tomorrow, wrenching every last bit of emotion from every song, whether it was there or not in the first place. From "Cold day in Hell", a slight throw back to "Pretty Woman" from his last album, to "Nothing's the Same" (a classic song in anyones book) the album speeds along breathlessly, twisting and turning with each new mood of the guitar...

Advantages: Every one you can think of Disadvantages: none
...Williamson is a good example of what I mean.
Chuck Berry? Does he belong on this Blues CD? Most definitely, he does. As well as helping to create the new Rock and Roll sound, Chuck Berry was a very accomplished Blues man. As his song Wee Wee Hours is a firm testament to.

Advantages: Great songs from the movie Disadvantages: Misses out some songs

Here, many artists like Ray Charles, Aretha Franklyn and James Brown have come together to produce a soundtrack that is featured in this memorable film.
The Tracks
--------------
Going through the listening experience, I am taken back to moments of the film, and whilst most songs are by the two main players in the film, the snippets of the more famous artists enhance the album and make it a complete listening experience.
1. SHE CAUGHT THE KATY-
This song is the first song in the film. It is a Great track giving a great introduction to the film, and one that sets the tone...
