Advantages: Blues music, what more can be said? Many great legends of blues and soul. Disadvantages: Not enough songs

THE SONGS
11 tracks are included on this album; all are from the original movie, although some are slightly edited so that they are suitable for a soundtrack album. This editing is barely noticeable though.
1 ? She Caught The Katy ? As always, this is a great intro to the album. It?s the first song you?ll hear on the film and is very much in the style of blues. A continuous guitar rhythm is followed by an equally continuous drum beat. Brass instruments, such as trumpets are occasionally heard but the real joy is the harmonica. Jake Blues (John Belushi) sings the, typically blues, lyrics well. ? 8/10
2 ? Peter Gunn Theme ? This instrumental follows a same beat as the previous track, as well as style. A continuous ...
Advantages: The better tracks outweigh the average ones Disadvantages: Not many but some fillers
For what this cd is worth its good value for money, some little gems on this disc. Sometimes you buy soundtracks to find little known tracks that will never be released you can nod along to, Blue Streak has quite a few of these and i was well pleased with this purchase. Only seen the film once but rate the soundtrack higher
Girls Best Friend - Jay Z. A simple layed beat by Swizz Beats opens up the album with Jay Z hitting all the right notes, kind of. Single released with video, not his best but not a bad track
Criminal Mind - Tyrese & Heavy D. Good track, catchy chorus. A good up tempo follow up to the Jay Z track
Damn - So Plush & Ja Rule. Tune. Great track. Production by Darkchild hits the right spots, Ja Rule early raps leads you up the garden path and into a chorus filled with simple lyrics and sweet voices. Theres something ...
Advantages: Excellent portrayal of the Victorian East End, mostly gripping, Johnny Depp Disadvantages: Terrible ending, Heather Graham as Mary Kelly
Let me take you back to the dark filthy courts and alleys of Victorian Whitechapel. Here in the autumn of 1888 five east end prostitutes were murdered. This in itself wasn?t particularly unusual. However these killing were sadistic and ritual ? the victim?s throats were slashed and their bodies severely mutilated. The murderer became known to history as the first ever modern serial killer ? Jack the Ripper. In possibly his own words: ?One day men will look back and say that I gave birth to the twentieth century?.
Interest in Jack the Ripper has never ceased, perhaps because we still have no real idea who was responsible for the Whitechapel murders. ?From Hell? is one of a huge number of movies, programmes, books and articles about Jack. The title is coined from a letter sent to George Lusk Head of the Mile End Vigilance Committee ...
