Advantages: The better tracks outweigh the average ones
Disadvantages: Not many but some fillers

...For what this cd is worth its good value for money, some little gems on this disc. Sometimes you buy soundtracks to find little known tracks that will never be released you can nod along to, Blue Streak has quite a few of these and i was well pleased with this purchase. Only seen the film once but rate the soundtrack higher Girls Best Friend - Jay Z. A simple layed beat by Swizz Beats opens up the album with Jay Z hitting all the right notes, kind of. Single released with video, not his best but not a bad track Criminal Mind - Tyrese & Heavy D. Good track, catchy chorus. A good up tempo follow up to the Jay Z track Damn - So Plush & Ja Rule. Tune. Great track. Production by Darkchild hits the right spots, Ja Rule early raps leads you up the garden path and into a chorus filled with simple lyrics and sweet voices. Theres something... ...As a child born in the 80's I have come to adore the music of the time, I'm always on the lookout for a good compilation CD and happened to spot this one during a shopping trip in Asda. Flipping the CD over to look at the track listing my eyes were drawn to one track and I didn't need to read the rest to know I had to have the CD. Capital Gold Eighties Legends contains songs by just that, 80's legends. There is a wide variety of artists providing a wide range of styles from pop to rock, Motown style and funk. It is a 2 disc CD providing 40 great 80's tunes. Because it is an 80's compilation, and most of us would have either heard the songs or heard of them, I wont go into a track by track description, that would spoil the fun of going out to buy the album and getting the know the songs yourself. Advantages: Brilliant electronic music
Disadvantages: quite strange

...Rephlexions (various artists) is the next installment of compilation albums on the Rephlex record label. It features another set of tracks by the key players on the label and is equally as good as the first compilation (Braindance (various artists)) The sounds are spaced out emotional and very original explorations of electronia. The CD kicks off with some mellow keys on which glitchy drum and bass future breaks are laid on top. The second tracks goes straight into a gentle industrial clanking atmosphere where a glimmering machine sits in a castle basement, blue light floods through the window in the middle of the night, the machine gets more energy as the track progresses.All the tracks seem to have concepts behind them waiting to be discovered.
