‘Boom Boom Boom Boom’, how many people out there remember that one?
JohnLeeHooker is a pure blues artist, he’s been one of the greats since 1948. Yes… dating back to World War II. He comes from Mississippi, so I don’t think I have to explain any more of that… the hometown of Jazz, R&B and soul greats.
His voice is deep and husky, and his toe tapping jazz tunes sure make you feel like you should be sitting on a veranda in Tennessee somewhere. (Wearing those denim overalls, with a cask of whiskey… not a glass).
This is a great album for the serious Rhythm & Blues listener, even if you’re not a fan or a bit of the uneducated side when it comes to music.. have a listen… this is how music began!
Tracks on the best of album include:

Advantages: It is Grisham's first nonfiction novel Disadvantages: just a touch too much fluff
When I first saw John Grisham's book, The Innocent Man, on the bookshelves I grabbed it! What I did not realize was that this novel is his first writing in nonfiction! However, I was not disappointed!
The research involved is impeccable - not a stone left unturned!
His portrayal of the people involved, the way in which he presented the facts, and the overall plot was captivating. If I didn't know any better, I would have believed that this was another work of fiction.

The Innocent Man is wonderful nove! It's a must-have addition to my ...
Advantages: Highlights the faults of the criminal justice system Disadvantages: .
As a fan of John Grisham I bought this book without reading the blurb on the back, I hadn't realised it was actually a true story and not a work of fiction.
~The Story~
The book for the most part follows the lives of Ron Williamson and his family, although through association with Ron it also encompasses the life of Dennis Fritz. There are also substantial mentions for Tommy Ward and Karl Fontenot.
The book is basically about the inadequacies and the injustices in the US justice system. The malicious prosecution of a man and his friend because he is different, because he doesn't fit in with societies ideals, because his physical appearance scares people and because his mental illnesses make his an ideal scapegoat.
~The Men and Women Involved~

Ron was a high school college star, destined for the big leagues, his ...
