Bob Marley was one of the all time inspirational artists of all time. He had some great songs, which are just as good if not better today. His songs are symbols of the fight for freedom that he believed in, and he’ one of the few artists who gets involved in politics through his songs.
He has some many great songs like ‘Is this Love’ ‘Jamming’ ‘Get Up Stand Up’ and ‘Redemption Song’ that it difficult to chose a best song. Some of the lyrics are sublime, ‘Redemption’s Song’ contains some excellent lyrics. Songs like ‘Get Up Stand Up’ are very upbeat and uplifting, even inspiring.
Bob Marley put Reggae music on the map, his songs were embraced in almost every country, his death was sad and tragic, cut short when he was at his prime. But, his music will stay with us for a very long time.
