Public Enemy, N.W.A and Ice T expressed their political views and offended the establishment and assaulted the fragile sentiments of "white America" by revealing the lifestyle of the gang cultures of that time (and now), and their objectifying bad attitude towards women and justifiable hostility to anybody that tried to deny them their rights.
Censorship and artistic freedom battled for many years until a solution was found-a warning sticker.
This album bears that sticker also.

Advantages: Great Album Disadvantages: Poor Packaging
...This album is an extension of Flush The Fashion but slightly darker and includes two songs Seven & Seven is and Who Do You Think We are which were based on experiemental songs which were aired during the flush the fashion shows. Generation Landslide comes from the Billion Dollar Babies album and is not a Live Cut as stated on the album it was actually re-recorded in a studio with extra lyrics during the making of the Special Forces album. Look at You Over There Ripping Sawdust From My Teddy Bear does not appear on the album this song was dropped at the last minute and does appear on the sleeve of some CD's still this version is more of a rarity. The song itself appears on the Life & Crimes Box Set However. This album mixes classic Alice Rock with punk and special effects. Track Listing :-

Advantages: Some great songs Disadvantages: A bit bland
...The CD re-release game is an interesting thing. The remade and remodelled is all the rage and when them upstairs have finished messing about with the material, you can find your head similarly scrambled. You can find yourself screaming, “That’s not the running order,” in true anorak style. Of course, you’re actually usually getting an extra bunch of product for the same money which is all very well and good, but for the true afficionado it’s like ripping a big chapter out of the Bible and replacing it with a second volume complete with glossy pics.
Take for instance Elvis Costello’s memorable third album, Armed Forces. The original LP when it was released in early 1979 contained just twelve tracks (as far as I can remember, although it’s a might difficult to check anywhere these days) - Accidents Will Happen, Senior Service...
