Indigo Optimus is an incredible opening track.
Grotto-like vibrations paint a beautiful backdrop and body to the piece (very Autechre-esque), plucked cords punctuate here and there, huge beats fall into hip-hop loops and catchy claps resonate throughout. However, Chris Clark's sense of style is unique; the sterile vanity of classic big-beat hip-hop seems far away and the lush adornment of the genre is what sticks out.

Advantages: The greatest generation music has ever seen Disadvantages: Not everybody will agree
...squeaky clean artists to role off the Stock, Aitken and Waterman conveyor belt, later to be followed by Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan. Fairly typical cheesy 80’s pop.
2.: I Should Be So Lucky - Kylie Minogue
Who would have thought that the sweet innocent Kylie who achieved her fame through Aussie soap Neighbours would go on to be the International Superstar that she has become. It is quite interesting watching the way Kylie has changed her musical style over the years from this bit of Cheesy Pop.
3.: Little Respect – Erasure
One of Andy Bell and Vince Clarke's later offerings which moved more towards a pop feel from their previously synthesiser dominated renditions. Not a bad effort but not particularly great either.

Advantages: Good strong voice, writes songs and plays instruments Disadvantages: none that I can think of
...Terri Clark is one of those artists that just gets better every time you listen to her music. This CD is all about her different styles from what I call pop country on "Thats me not loving you" to a real country song on "Cure for the common heartache". The fact that Terri Clark can cover such a range of styles shows what a talented artist and songwriter she is. All of the songs on this CD can evoke a different mood when you listen to them, but put them together and you just sit back and enjoy the show. My personal favourites are "Everytime I cry" and "Unsung hero", but they are all good tracks in their own right.
Terri Clark has been bypassed by the CMA as far as awards go because I don't think she is commercial enough in terms of record sales for them, but the lady can sing and thats all that matters to a fan.
