Album Notes: If you are a fan of Punjabi MC, you will most certainly want to dig into this 3CD collection, which features tracks from Loot Gaye, Pyar Mere, Tu Hi Tu, Raat Baaki, and over a dozen other purveyors of Bollyfunk.
...this was such an amazing colourful exciting vibrant film and subsequently i would have been dissapointed if the music was not also exceptional. every song in this album is outstanding and is greatly crafted to suit the occasion style and originality. these are the songs that will never die and you can hear all the time be it in your car, on your mp3 player or at home. there are songs in it for every occasion - dance songs, classical, folk type, sad, romantic, etc. and there is something in it for everyone. if someone is new to bollywood this would be an ideal gift as it does, in a cd, summarise all the various genres of bollywood today. this cd is extremely original in that it takes things from the whole of india (rather than stealing songs from other films which is what happens in india! ;)...

Advantages: It just feels right Disadvantages: where is vol 2 ???
...The Viva Diablo Blanco compilation is a carefully selection of hyms of drum'n'bass / ambient tunes from the mid 90's. You'll be sure to rebember tracks such as Apollo 440's "Ain't Talking about dub" and Fat Boy Slim's "Song for Linda" and at the same time recall some less mainstream artists such as The Aloof and The Art of Noise and on top some very good remixes by the likes of the brazillian collective Filla Brazilia and others.
All in all this album does really capture the essence of the whole snowboarding sub-culture, so the snowboarder on the album's cover isn't just a fluke.
In a few words this compilation is bold, young and fast paced, but still a ambient album that you can play over and over....

You Got Served Review ofYou Got Served (Original Soundtrack) - VariousArtistsby

Advantages: Nice songs Disadvantages: Not much variety
...The music goes well the movie, but there isn't a lot of variety from song to song. "Do That Thing" and "Take it to the Floor" almost sound alike, the beat and the lyrics seem to flow together. The ballads, such as "Sprung" and "Out the Hood" are the same, in that they sound alike. "Streets is Callin'" sounds rather fake, in that it should have been a more upbeat song. "Fizzo Got Flow" is a non-ending rhyming song in which the chorus repeats "Fizzo Got Flow" over and over. The songs by the other artists aren't any better, "Smile" is definately not a song that made me smile. Being a huge B2K fan, I was extremely disappointed. Could this be why they broke up?...
