...This ‘Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band’ (from now on, just ‘Sgt. Peppers) has been proclaimed as the best album The Beatles ever released. It might be right, in a technical way (I mean, technically, this album was an important improvement in music stile, and the use of fiddles and big orchestras wasn’t very common by the time the Beatles decided to fill their music with this new instruments, in a perfect combination of classical music and rock and roll), and it might be right if you have a quick look at the songs included. What I think, is that this album is their second best, just after ‘Abbey Road’, BUT I understand why too many people think this is the best one, you’ll see the reasons in this opinion. Anyway, what is for sure, is that this is the most influential album of popular music ever released.

Burt anyway some detials...Mike (as I'm now going to call him) is an old man (mid 50's...) and according to wikipedia (the source of the all knowing information highway of solid facts and the likey...right?) he was first actived in 1968, to record and write music (something he doesn't do for this album).
For a singer-SONGWRITER he has album been found guilty of plagarism in the case of the song "Love is a Wonderful Thing"...sorry Michael but it has to be said...

Advantages: Too many to list Disadvantages: Some of Scott's solo stuff is 'difficult'
...Scott Engel, pretty-boy session man in Hollywood, still only in his early 20's. He decides that he wants a bigger slice of the pie and sets up a band with guitarist John Maus and drummer Gary Leeds. They move base to England, Scott Engel becomes Scott Walker and the legend begins.
How do you define the importance and beauty of the music created by Scott Walker and the Walker Brothers in a few paragraphs? It's almost impossible.
To begin with it was Scott Walker and The Walker Brothers. Between 1965 and 1967 they were responsible for some of the classic moments in pop. Think 'Make It Easy On Yourself' with it's sweeping orchestration and Scott's velvety smooth, impossibly beautiful vocals. It's a stunning song that is instantly recognizable. A song that, in 200 years, will still be so. Think 'The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore...
