Advantages: tasty, real chunks of fruit Disadvantages: slightly more pricy than other jams
...if not, then get out now and go buy some of this stuff for the kids!
I never really used to eat jam - possibly because the stuff I used to be given bore little or no resemblance to the fruit that it was supposed to represent. This period of being staunchly anti-jam came to an abrupt end, however, when I was persuaded to try Bonne Maman for the first time: the strawberry flavour being the one that we usually buy.
The jar itself persuaded me that this was going to be decent jam. The 370g glass jar comes complete with red and white checked lid - obviously trying to look authentically handmade, although without the cloth covering the top, for health and safety reasons... This impression of being homemade is continued in the labelling - "Bonne Maman Strawberry Conserve" on the front is written, seemingly, in someone's handwriting ...

Advantages: Nice shops, many museums, various trips Disadvantages: Lacking in something, I'm just not sure what
The former capital of Germany, Bonn is somewhere I’ve wanted to visit for a while, but especially since I went to Berlin, the new capital, in a compare and contrast sort of way. I only had 28 hours in the city, but I still saw a fair bit.
One think I would recommend that you do immediately on arrival is to get hold of a Welcome Card. These start at 9 Euros for one person for 24 hours, but ones for longer periods, or for groups and families are also available. The cards offer unlimited use of public transport in and around the city, and free entry to almost all the museums, making them very good value, even for those, such as myself, who qualify for concessionary admissions in most places. They also offer reductions on boat trips, city tours, accommodation at some hotels and various other freebies. Through the rest of the op, I ...

Advantages: really kind service and moderate prices Disadvantages: there are none
I discovered this shop when travelling to Szentendre in February 2009
BelleEpoque, is the best place in the Budapest region to find Hungarian ?country style? interior decoration articles and authentic artisan souvenirs. Every item is handmade and made from natural materials with traditional techniques.
Table runners, handwoven kitchen towels, century old crochet hook laces, decorative covers, old Hungarian folk outfits, embroidered pillowcases and so much more...
The shop is located a few paces from Szentendre?s ?Fo ter? (Main Square), BelleEpoque operates in a typical Szentendre Mansion which has been built in 1860 and is now a national monument. The shop is equipped with beautiful, century-old furnishings.
Hungarians are very proud of their national folk art. Have a look at the shop's website and you'll understand why:
