There is 27 songs on the first CD, but rather than write about them all I have picked out what I consider to be the best 5. These I hope will give you a taste of the delights on offer.
So in no particular order they are:-
1. **Bob the Builder. Mambo Number 5. **
Everyone knows this one, well I think they do.
If you have never heard of Bob before he is a character created by advertising artist Keith Chapman back in the late 1980s. He would tell his children bedtime stories about a builder and his work crew. Originally Bob (a builder) was older and sported a moustache. Wendy his dizzy secretary did not exist, instead Bob had a labourer called Lenny. When the character was brought to the BBC, Lenny was dropped and Wendy born. Bob ...

You really won't have to give yourself a reason to dance as you play this On and On..
Yes there could have been more hits of the era gone by but that would give you a reason to look for another party cd set.

Advantages: 2 or 3 very good songs. The album is very cheap Disadvantages: Some very awful tracks
This album is marketed as being great for parties and some of the tracks are typical 1970s dance-floor fillers. However, some of the songs are not the best choices that could have been made.
The first track is "You Sexy Thing " by Hot Chocolate. Everyone knows this and it's a great opener. Just make sure nobody tries to strip off!
Following on from this is "More Than A Woman" by Tavares. Ah, a track from "Saturday Night Fever". What 1970s compilation album would be complete without it?
The third song is "That's The Way (I Like It) by KC & The Sunshine Band. Not as good as "Give It Up", which I think just squeezed into the back end of the 1970s but still a decent party tune.
"Movin'" by Bass Construction and "Nut Bush City Limits" by Ike and Tina Turner are next - again, not bad tracks for this kind of album.
