so many drum & bass, cds so little time Pick this one . nicely selected, well programmed, and a good overview of the genre, This takes you from the roots of D+B to its present day dizzy heights, this well priced two-disc set is what you need to get a party going. from Goldie and Roni Size to the Rebel MC with a little bit of LTJ Bukem to smooth things out in a smooth fashion. This cd is a really good two hour history lesson and is a great reminder of just how great the UK is at inventing new styles of music .Spread over two cds this is a great way to kill a few hours getting lost in fast beats and bottomless bass lines ,great for motorway driving !!! ...

Dj Hypes Drum 'n' Bass Arena

Advantages: good music,various artists, good value for money, enjoyable
Disadvantages: not for absolutely everyone

I have had Dj Hypes drum and bass arena album since around christmas last year, and i am still not bored of it. It has a lot of different artists on it, with a range of different types of drum and bass. I love to listen to this album when driving, tidying the house, or just doing nothing. it is a really good back round album when i have friends round too, as everyone enjoys the music it has on it. I also love to dance to the songs on this album, but i do not let many people see me doing that !!! I would really reccomend this album to anyone, it could suit many peoples music taste. It is also pretty good value for money, seeing as there are so many artists on it. ...

Pure Drum+Bass the collection, the best Ive heard

Advantages: A pack with good songs throughout, and at an almost comical price
Disadvantages: Big drum’n’bass packs have a reputation of being big boxes of crud

Ok, I know there are hoards of these 'outstanding value' drum and bass collections on offer. 2, 4, even 6 cd’s packed full of, erm… the fiercest of cuts that you’ve never actually heard of and probably don’t ever want to hear. They fill the front of the pack with the names of the true legends, Hype, Zinc, SS, Bukem, Peshay, Shy fx, etc.. but you then find that out of the dozens of tracks, only a handful of them are from the people they're using to advertise the collection. To be honest, in my opinion they suck. I have bought a few of them, being a bit of a drum’n’bass fan, and they were offensive to me, some daft corporation thinks they can con true fans into buying their rubbish, or tempting those new to the scene with a huge box of big named players. It gives the genre a bad name, disheartens ...
