For mine, much of her role was in her most legendary track "Doin' the Do" being used as the theme tune to the great Bitmap Brothers platformer Magic Pockets. That track is pretty timeless, but the same cannot be said for the rest of the album. It's no surprise that we haven't heard any of the other tracks on the album. "Doin' the Do" really ... more

That track is pretty timeless, but the same cannot be said for the rest of the album. It's no surprise that we haven't heard any of the other tracks on the album. "Doin' the Do" really is the height of the originality Betty expresses throughout the record. It isn't all that bad though, because they are all still quite groovy, just not fresh like "Doin' the Do" was when we first heard it. I wouldn't really suggest buying this album but it's not as bad as I have probably made it sound.
