Advantages: Four Superb Tracks Disadvantages: Some Weaker Songs
...around the World.
Sceptics however believe that the Webcam theory is flawed and these broadcasts were the result of a cleverly organised publicity stunt from her Record Company. Whichever version of events that you choose to believe is now pretty much irrelevant since this stunt led to the re-release of "I wish I was a punkrocker (with flowers in my hair) and earned her a major record deal with EMI. Second time around this Single topped the UK Charts and spent ten consecutive weeks at the top of the Australian Charts.
Striking whilst the Iron was hot as the saying goes, Sandi quickly followed up this Single success with her debut Album called "Smile, It confuses people."
It is very rare that I would consider buying an Album simply on the strength of hearing just one Song from an Artist that I knew nothing about but on hearing...

Advantages: One of the group's best, still freshest-sounding albums Disadvantages: None
...It was evident that on their first two albums The Eagles were trying to broaden their musical base beyond country music, and get closer to rock'n'roll. With 'On The Border' they made it, thanks partly to their decision to fire British producer Glyn Johns after completing two tracks and basing themselves in Los Angeles with American working partner Bill Szymczyk, and partly to recruiting additional lead guitarist Don Felder, who is listed on the cover as 'late arrival'.

Advantages: Lovely voice, something for every mood Disadvantages: Stories can be slightly depressing for some people
...Sandi Thom is a 26 year old singer from Scotland. Her debut Album Smile... It Confuses People sold over 700,000 copies when it was released. It has 10 songs on it.
1. When Horsepower Meant What it Said - An upbeat, classic country song about horses (as if you couldn't get). It is about going back to the old days and getting the horses out of our cars and back on the roads.
2. I wish I was a Punkrocker - The perfect song to dance and sing to. It consists mainly of Sandi's voice and various types of percussion including tambourine, drums and hand claps. It was Sandi's first single to be released and wet down a storm.
3. Lonely Girl - A more soulful, slow song to include piano but Sandi starts to show the power in her voice. The title is rather self explanatory.
4. Sunset Borderline - This song is definatley one you chill out...
