Historically speaking, it was at about this point that the Shamen drifted away from their ... more
traditional constituency--the rave crowd who'd supported them up to and including theEn-Tactalbum--and began to make serious inroads on the UK and European charts, courtesy of a string of glossy, lightweight singles: "LSI (Love, Sex, Intelligence)", "Ebeneezer Goode" (with its notorious "Eezer good" chorus--perhaps the most crashingly unsubtle drug reference in pop history) and "Phorever People". The difference? Simply the increased prominence of vocalist Mr C. With his plummy, enunciated "raps", his fey, finger-waving dances, and his apparent lack of anything even vaguely resembling a groove, there was a lot of unkind speculation in the music press as to just what that "C" stood for--accompanied by much moaning on the part of the longtime fans--but as the group's sound shifted from techno to euro-pop, its bank balance never looked healthier.--Andrew McGuire

Advantages: distinctive scent, very versatile Disadvantages: bott;w could be improved
I was given a bottle of Hugo Boss Deep Red as a gift. Not a perfume I would have necessarily bought myself on first sniff, the more I have used this scent, the more that I have grown to love it!
An instantly recognisable scent, it is fruity yet also floral and woody. Not comparable to any other perfume that I have tested. It is also a very feminine scent (I find alot of perfumes to be verging on the unisex side so this was good for me) The perfume contains pear, clementine, lily and vanilla. I think it is also a very versatile perfume that can be worn anytime, equally suitable for daytime wear or for a night out on the tiles.
The fragrance also lasts quite a while, I would say a good few hours before a fresh spray is required. Also, only a couple of sprays are required per application, so a bottle lasts quite a while. The RRP ...
Advantages: Nice colour of bottle Disadvantages: Overpriced
It's that time of the year again. You know, when everyone drowns in a sea of unwanted fragrances and aftershaves. Fox ache, I have so many unused bottles of 'smellies' kicking around I could liberally bathe in the stuff...liberally, but not literally. In fact, I have more bottles of aftershave than faces to shave...
It's not really surprising, as these things make easy gifts. But what is surprising, is that my son is in almost the same position regarding unwanted aftershave. Why surprising? Because he bears more resemblance to Robinson Crusoe or Wurzel Gummidge than a clean-cut, clean-shaven, matinee idol (like yours truly!).
Rummaging around at his house the other day (as you do), I discovered a bottle of HUGO BOSS DARK BLUE and having no beer to drink, I thought I'd review this stuff instead. (No, of course I didn't drink it ...
Advantages: Cheap, Good packaging, smells great Disadvantages: none
Well as you have gathered from my other reviews i am totally addicted to buying perfume lol. I am sure eventually you will get fed up with reading these reviews but i sure hope not, cos there is still plenty i have not done lol. So i hope this one is as good as my others.
