Little Box Of Horrors (+DVD) - Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13

Advantages: A lot of old favorites, and some new ones
Disadvantages: A lot of regurgitated material

...If you're a fan of 'Murderdolls' or 'Wednesday 13' or even FDQFP13 themselves, then I highly recommend that you purchase this box set. It contains 5 cds, an information booklet, a poster and a key ring and with only 2,666 copies available they're getting hard to come by. This box set gives you more of an idea of how Wednesday 13 and the 'Murderdolls' started out, and shows a whole new side of Wednesday many knew nothing about. All in all, it is an excellent buy and a must have for any fan of Wednesday's work! If you are a fan of FDQFP13 then you will; I'm sure, own many of the cds contained in the box set already, nonetheless, it is most defiantly a recommended buy. The price of these box sets has, no doubt, risen substantially since I bought mine [for the mere price of £30], still I hope that won't prevent anyone buying... Read review

...**Introduction** I have had this album for about 2 years now. I ordered this among with another FDQ album from Amazon when hearing about them because I was a Murderdolls fan. ***Who are the FDQ's??*** The Frankenstein Drag Queens From The Planet 13 are an horror punk band from North Carolina. The Band is heavily inspired by Horror movies and have realised 4 albums. The band broke up in early 2000's and since then the former Frankenstein Drag Queens lead singer named "Wednesday 13" as had a lot of mainstream success. He is known now for his lead role in the "Murderdolls" and his solo project which just goes under the name "Wednesday 13". Advantages: Good lyrics, simple songs, great party album

...If anyone from ciao reads this, the picture for the album cover isn't the right one. =] Anyway, about the album. I first heard of FDQ (Frankenstein drag queens) when i was looking up another band (Murderdolls) on the internet and found the lead singer, wednesday 13, had been in 2 bands previously. One was called Maniac spider trash and the other FDQ. After looking up both of these bands i found that i preffered FDQ and that they were one of my new favourite bands. Their music is fun but manages to keep attitude that i love to see in bands. Songs such as "I love me" and "I don't wanna be your friend" are a couple minutes of fantastic horror punk. Tracks * Mr.Motherf***er - Simple lyrics and a simple idea but it works so well. Not the best song to play your grandmother but still an amazing song to party to. * Twist... Read review
