Advantages: Great music and album art and formed by two thirds of blink 182
Disadvantages: It's there only release, And one or two of the songs are repetative

...Boxcar Racer is a band formed by tom Delonge and Travis barker the guitarist and drummer of a well known successful band known as blink 182, the music that is produced by boxcar racer is similar to blink 182 but is more serious and emotional. The lyrics are thought provoking and have a story or message in them, its less glossy and heavier, it takes on weightier subject matter than blink 182 comic sounds. Even though they only brought out one CD it is excellent And if you like this I also suggest you buy blink 182 newest album which is self titled you could listen to these CDs over again and not get bored with them un like others. If you are planning on purchasing this Boxcar Racer I would suggest you do so it is an excellent CD to add to your collection of music.... Read review

Advantages: Pop-Punk Supergroup's adventurous new album. Experimental sounds and catchy rhythms.
Disadvantages: Not completely unique, Tom Delonge's (Ex-Blink 182) voice dodgy in places

...When Blink 182 split-up many people expected boxcar racer to reunite. However when Tom Delonge announced Angels and Airwaves he also said that it was not another side project, this was his new band. The long awaited album "We don't need to whisper" by Ex-Blink 182 frontman Tom Delonge's new supergroup Angels & Airwaves, (AvA for short), can be described as experimental-pop-punk. With the usual power chords that people have come to expect from Delonge mixed in with fancy guitar riffs and special effects they create not a new genre, but one which combines the best from numerous ones. All of the songs on the album have a more melodic feel than that of Blink, but there again this is not Blink. Delonge has said numerous times that he wants to get away from the school-boy lyrics about sex and go for something that will make the world think... Read review

...hey i really liked blink and boxcar. i love angels and airwaves but somethings missing. that is the 2/3s of blink that isnt there. its almost tom cant play to hes full potential when hes not in blink. Dont be fooled though this is a realli good album. im still warming up to the idea of theres no blink and now its AVA and Plus 44. my favourite songs are It Hurts and The Adventure. sone of the songs are similar which sux cos thats kinda blink un-like. dont download the album. go out and buy it. it sounds betta when you know that u hav bought it. cant wait for future material though and to see if blink will ever get back together. enjoy it!...
