...Hard House Nation 2 is mixed, like its predecesor, by Lisa Pin Up and Andy Farley.Some of the tracks on this are also featured on Hard House Nation 1 (wonder when the third will come out?), and most, if not all will be featured on some other bog standard compilation. To be fair, there are a few crackin tracks on this CD, such as Rachel Auburn-Screwdriver, Allnighters-Black is Black, and Ollie Jaye-Feel so Good, but this is really no different to most other compilations on the shelves. If you want something decent and a bit less commercial, try a compilation by Nick Rafferty and again Andy Farley, called "The Harder they Come". Farley demonstrates a more bangin, less commercial set and even includes a track by the super-duper R R Fierce. Alternatively, you could try one of the six Nukleus compilations, if you still want to hear the tunes... Read review

...this is my most rescent buy of a house compilation and it is the best of them all it is very well mixed by andy farley and lisa pin up.both cds start off very well but as you get further into the album you start to get bored with some of the songs featured usually i like to be able to dance all the way through an album but this is not one of them. this is the best album i have for the mixing all the songs fit together very well and you dont jump from extreme to extreme with the tracks like i have heard on some other albums.also if you do purchase dont bother listening to the middles of either album they both start and finish well but there is only one good song in the middle of the two albums and that is mind body and soul.... ...Hard House Nation was great but the sequal to it, Hard House Nation 2 is even better! I bought this two weeks ago and haven't stopped playing it. It is mixed by Andy Farley, and my favorite lady, Lisa Pin-up, who I had the pleasure of playing with at a local miss moneypenny event 2 years ago. Lisa Pin-up is one of the best miers on the scene, her compilation is a mix of commercial and underground vocalisitc hard house. Andy Farleys compilation is big and bad, real hard house and trance, with some excellent white labels too. As I said, this album is the one to buy, especially if you want to hear the best up and coming tunes of 2001! Buy it now! (its only £10.99 at HMV in their sale)... Read review
