Braindance Coincidence (various artists) is a collection of tracks from artist that are on Aphex Twins record label Rephlex. Aphex twin is probably the UK's most well known electronic musician, and these tracks follow in his footsteps. The tracks play on the idea of electronic sound and what can be done with it and so dont really follow a particular genre. There are styles taken from drum and bass, trance, dub, but they are fitted into the Rephlex mould which is generally described as being 'Glitchy, atmospheric, deep and mad'. If you are interested in and enjoy electronic music you will absolutely love this. It is filled to the brim with tracks, some which sound like they have been made using modern equipment, some which sound slightly older, but they all have that same feeling of spaced out electronica. Tracks like Cylobs 'Rewind' (which contains a robotic voice rapping about rewinding tracks back to the beginning because they are so good) and Squarepushers remix of Chaos AD's 'Psultan' take you into the hyper regions of synthed out drum and bass. Overall it is an electronic music lovers dream come true.
