Careful 5/5
A brilliant start to a new album! When I first listened to this track I was confident that the rest of the album would be just as good. This track is one of my favourites, it starts with a build up, then goes into all the awesome stuff you need to get a song. Hayley really gave 110% effort in this track, and you can really see that when she starts singing. The chorus is extremely catchy, and having only listened to this a few times so far, I know it word for word.
Ignorance 5/5
You may have heard this one, I have heard it on the radio and it has been played plenty of times on the TV. This is a great track and I feel I can relate to this one.. Hayley says that this is what she felt about the guys in the band towards the end of Riot! And admitted they were close to splitting =[ but they pulled through and happily chucked this piece of awesomeness at us, which we happily listen to. It as extremely great vocals to it, and the bass line really gets my foot tapping. Its really catchy, and even if you don’t know the words you find yourself humming the tune. I think that the drumming is typical Paramore drumming, it sounds slight similar to Misery Business/ Crush!Crush!Crush! so its clear they found their signature beat.
Playing God 5/5
I absoloutley Love this track! The chorus gets me dancing slightly [Not afraid to admit it] and the verses just flow along as if it was so easy to write this song when in actual fact it wasn’t! This one is slightly different to the previous two, it starts off with a light opening and the the vocals aren’t as heavy, the beat again is that familiar beat. In the back ground it souds like a ticking noise which my fingers clickin’ I cant help singing along to the chorus, because it is one of those that stick in your head, and its not helpful when your in maths singing ‘Next time you point the finger I might have to bend it back or brake it! Brake it off!’
Brick by Boring Brick 5/5
This track is awesome, the melody is slightly different to the previous track. They are singing loudly one second and then nice and soft the next but hey! Paramore can pull it off if no one else can. This is another one of my favourite tracks. I love the bass line and I am currently hogging the school drum kit to learn the beat. I deffinatley recommend that you lsten to this track as it is Paramore to a tee.
Turn It Off 5/5
Another very Riot! Feeling to this track, It is absoloutley amazing though. I think the lyrics are well written and presented(By the amazing Hayley) I don’t think I could find a better band to look up to. This track in particular inspires me in a lot of ways, the guitarring has encouraged me not to give up guitar because I was going to quit and sell mine and give my vocals a new touch to them. So this track really is inspireful and if you listen to it over and over again, you would be inspired too. I don’t think I will ever get bored of this track.
The Only Exception 5/5
This is a beautiful track with beautiful vocals. I love the acoustic rhythm, It is consistent and very stable. There isn’t really that much to say about this track really because its so good, except listen to it. Its a lot different to their other stuff, but it really does them justice.
Feeling Sorry 5/5
Going back to the bouncy paramore now, this track is flawless, Bass line and all. Backing vocals are amaziing and the build up to the chorus well lets just say that melody will stay with you forever. When the song comes to a close, it leaves you wanting them to actually carry on you really want more, I think out of the whole of this song, I enjoy the guitarring most.
Looking Up 5/5
Starts off with a great rhythm and when the vocals come in, you get the feel of the energy created with song. The lyrics are inspiring and amazing and Hayley does a Perfect job at singing them. I think this is one of the tracks that you should listen to if you are thinking of getting this album.
Where The Lines Overlap 5/5
I love this song to bits, very catchy…very catchy indeed. I know all the words, I knew them since I first listened to it. I like to skip around the corridors in school singing this especially the ‘Ive gotta feeling if I sing this loud enough you will sing it back to me’ part and its great because I do actually get response, so that just shows how many people actually like paramore, and I think that actually, no one is as lucky as us…because we have Paramore! xD
Misguided Ghosts 5/5
Another acoustic track absoloutley amazing and totally recommended. A soft melody that flows from Hayley williams’ lungs, It just blows me away and I’m sure it’d blow you away too. The acoustic is pretty simple but yet so effective, it does have a Spanish feel to it, but that makes it soo much better.
All I Wanted 5/5
Whoa they have all 5s so far, This track is excellent, in the way of vocal, Hayley completely amazes me to how she can hit those notes so perfectly. I like the chorous of this track and I really like how they start with the acoustic feel making the listener think ‘ok another acoustic’ and then they bring in the bass drums and electric guitar, its just amazing! A strong song, I suggest you listen to it to get the feel yourself because you probably have a different oppinon to me.
Decode 5/5
Okay every one should know this track, they recorded this for the Film Twilight of the famous Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer. This track, I adore to pieces, again Hayley hits those notes and leaves me speechless, I wish I could hit those notes. The thing with this track is every time I listen to it I have to watch or read Twilight and I’m not sure if that’s what they are trying to get you to do…but if it is it works.

Brand New Eyes is popular punk rock band Paramore's 3rd album released, it was released in 2009 and is an amazing album. Advantages: Inoffensive and easy to listen to, thought provoking lyrics. Disadvantages: Slightly depressing at times
After hearing the new single 'Ignorance' by Paramore on the radio, the group caught my eye and I downloaded their current album 'Brand New Eyes'. I have not listened to any of their previous work, but have really enjoyed this album. The tracks are relatively well varied although I wouldn't say the band has a particularly unique style (I would describe it as Avril Lavigne meets Panic At The Disco). If you don't like lyrics that are too deep, then ... ...quite depressing if you pay too much attention! My favorite song on the album is track 7 'All I wanted', it is a nice contrast to the other tracks. The album is easy to listen to, and is definitely worth the £7.99 I paid to download. I would recommend particularly to indie listeners, but it would also be enjoyed by mainstream music lovers. ...

Album Notes
Third album, following 2007's 'Riot', from the prodigious Tennessee emo-punk quintet. Despite no remarkable changes in their sound, overall the album has a more mature and experienced vibe. With punchy production from Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance), the album includes the single 'Ignorance' as well as one of the band's finest songs to date - the dark, brooding ballad 'Decode', originally recorded for the 'Twilight' soundtrack album.
