Advantages: Fantastic Full-Length Dance Classics Disadvantages: A few substandard fillers...
I've got all the Back To Love compilations from Hed Kandi of of "classic tracks that gave birth to a whole generation of clubbers", and was listening to this one (well, both CD's in this double-pack actually) in my car earlier today, so though't I'd let you know what I thought...

CD1
1. "You're gonna miss me" - Turntable Orchestra (original mix)
Classic "italian house" piano, and a great baseline
2. "Love will find a way" - Victor Romeo feat. Latrice Brown
Nothing special about this one really, a bit of a filler really...
3. "See the day" - Ann Consuelo (Stonebridge mix)
What a vocal ! And more italian piano.
4. "Aftershock" - Slave to the Vibe (12" club mix)
Maybe it's this extended 12" mix (that Hed Handi is all about), but I remember this track being much better...
5. "Push the feeling on ...
Advantages: Some good remixes and the price Disadvantages: Not many, some fillers but i suppose you get that with every album
A Girl Part 1 - Usher, Loon & P Diddy. Great chorus and catchy lyrics from usher, definately one for the ladies but a really popular tune.
Unfoolish - Ashanti & Notorious BIG. Loads of radio play this one, mixing Biggies old tune, i think the video got more airplay than the original and another cult classic
Dance With Me/Peaches And Cream - 112, Ludacris & Beanie Segal. Great mix with the two best tunes from the 112 album. Great r&b club tracks and more cult classics
No More Drama - Mary J Blige. Compared to what has come before on this album, the Mary track falls just short. Its a mid tempo track which is just middle of the road
So complete - Cherri Dennis. I can basically repeat the same as above, not really much going on
Notorious - Lil Kim, Notorious BIG & P Diddy. Nowhere near the original in my opinion but my brother loves it ...
Advantages: great selection, good variety Disadvantages: somehow mistitled, mostly traditional stuff
used to be in Middle Europe before WW2, while after that, despite having its borders move several hundred miles to the west, it become part of Eastern Europe), but usually refers to the countries of the former Soviet block (and sometimes includes Greece).
On this album, "Eastern Europe" is actually more of an alternative label for the Balkans. Most tracks come fromartistsfrom Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and countries of former Yugoslavia, although there is one track from a Russian band, and one from Polish mountains. I can understand this, as the Balkans are probably musically the most interesting and there is only very limited number of connoisseurs of GDR disco and other more obscure manifestations of Eastern European music. Still, the name would have fitted better if we had a little bit less from the Balkans, and a little bit more ...
