As I listen to the fast paced music and that mans powerful voice blurting out of my £300 Hifi system a sense of awe and excitement overcomes me. Until my mum bangs on the door, screaming at the top of her voice for this rackit to be turned down. I ask politely, what rackit?? This is without a dought one of Iron Maidens better albums. The guitar play is fast and furious and with the power of four guitars its very loud. With Bruce back in the driving seat you know you can expect to hear his powerful embracing voice blurt out above the noise screaming those brilliant lyrics into your ears. Nicko, what a drummer, how does he do it!!!!!!!!!!!! Now lets take a little time to look at the songs. Wickerman A fast furious rollercoaster ride of a metal song, Just right for the comercial market and a brilliant single and also a great choice for the first song on the album. Ghost Of The Navigator A brilliant introduction with a furious Mcbrain bashing his drum kit into smeg. Following that is not disappointing. Fast verses and a brilliant chorus where Bruce uses his voice well. Brave New World This is class not the best song on the album but it has a cool chorus which is seriously powerful. Blood Brothers A long flowing song, classic lyrics its one of my personel fav's on the album. The Mercenary Extremely fast with my favourite solo of the whole album on it, once again Bruce delivers with his astounding voice. Dream Of Mirrors The best song on the album and one of the best they've done. I still cant get over Mcbrains drumming abilities. How he keeps up is a mystery to me!! Its powerful and fulfilling. The Fallen Angel I think this should be released as a second single from the album. Its fast and short enough to get air play on the radio. Some brilliant lyrics. The Nomad It took me a couple of listens to really get into this one. It is good but it has to be my least favourite on the album. Out Of The Silent Planet Screams brilliance from beginning to end. A classic chorus going from quick to slow and powerful in slick movements. Thin Blue Line Between Love And Hate Bit of a mouthful but the song is on a par with excellence and a great way to end the album in style. You can tell Bruce and Adrian are back and i dont know about you but i want more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

iron maiden is one of my favourite metal bands and i think the new cd b.n.w is much better than virtual IV and it s great that bruce and adrian are back. but i think that your favourite song "dreama of mirrows" is not fast enough. i like fast songs like ghosts of navigators or wicker man. i also like other bands ( cradle of filth, dimmu borgir, napalm death etc.) can you please help me what cd to buy me next week? what do you hear except iron maiden? please answer me soon!!!!!!!
