This CD takes you on a musical journey around the different cultures in Brazil.

Most of the songs are in Brazilian Portuguese, so they give you an insight into how the Brazilian people have changed the original Portuguese language and made it their own. A few of the songs are in other languages, such as one in french, which has a very samba like quality to it. This se of a different language mixed in with the native language helps to demonstrate the cultural diversity in Brazil, and the rich education that people can get if they want to. This helps to put to shame the common preconception based on the reports of the many thousands of people in Brazil living in shanty towns.
