This is by far my favourite Kelly Clarkson album. I have every every album by her so far. Her first album, just after winning American Idol back in 2002 didnt really do a lot for me, a bit too cheesy and 'pop' for my liking. I guess she didnt really have a big say in what she recorded back then. Good news is, her style seems to have changed. Now more toward a pop/rock kinda sound i find im really liking her again. Choice of genre was a little bit of a shock to some listeners, thinking she'd stick to the safe ballad route but good on her for going for something different. It was really nice listening to Kelly's voice develop and grow into what became 'Breakaway'.

My Favourites:
Since you been gone - This is a fabulous upbeat song about a girl feeling releaved since her relationship ended. Although it's not generally a song for clubs i often hear it remixed and it ends up being a great song to dance with the girls to.
Beautiful Disaster - This is such a beautiful song and Kelly shows a lot of emotion in her voice. Although i really liked the more upbeat songs on the album, the ballads are just that bit more amazing. The song is about a girl who's in love but thinks even though he is so wonderful, he's going to end up ruining everything. I also have a live version of this song and i'd recommend it over the album version, although the album did get re released with the live version on it.
Theres something for everyone on this album. Some slushy songs and some really good lively songs that get you singing and dancing along to them. All of the songs on the album are generally to do with relationships and heartbreak but as quite a lot of songs are up tempo it isnt as depressing as it seems. Give Kelly a try and u wont be dissapointed with this album!

Advantages: An amazing and talented young lady with a beautiful voice. Disadvantages: The cover was to original, thats the only bad thing i have to say!
Advantages: Brilliant range of tracks, superb vocal talents, widely available on the internet. Disadvantages: Some songs a little too similar sounding to other artists.
