Advantages: songs are very powerful and catchy Disadvantages: not enough songs on the album
...i think anastacia's album is good because all her songs have meanings and songs with meaning are always better than songs without. i would also say that these kind of songs are more for teens than adults or younger children because younger children will be singing to the songs but would know what they are singing about and adults will think it is aload of rubbish byt teens will understand what she is on about. i am a teen and i play the album over and over again and love all the songs witch i can honestly say is unlike me i buy an album but only like one song, from that i think it must be a good album i would buy it again just to see her go to the top and people hear what good music hers is!

Advantages: It's rock n' roll in it's purest from Disadvantages: Album is too short
...Heathen Chemistry was released on the first of July in a blaze of Internet fuelled speculation. The title of the album by the way, coming from a t-shirt that Noel Gallagher saw whilst doing a photo shoot for NME magazine. Wishing to stay away from the internet saga, I bought the album first thing on the Monday morning of its release and took it home to listen to straight away. What I heard was a new Oasis that had matured since (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? To resurrect what some thought, was a sinking ship. The previous two albums did not live up to the hype that they were given, although I felt Be Here Now was treated rather unfairly by the press, and this was the make or break album for Oasis. Noel writes seven of the songs, Liam three, Gem one and Andy one also, here then is the album track by track.

Advantages: a breath of fresh air in a world of over produced music Disadvantages: none
...get to appreciate that in full.
One of the highlights of the album, for me, follows. "Boys From The County Hell" is another tale of drinking, fighting and general mayhem. A fast paced folk white knuckle ride with some haunting whistle playing soloing throughout the song from Spider Stacey and the most memorable chorus of;
"Lend me ten pounds and I'll buy you a drink
And mother wake me early in the morning"
It has been said that this song was arranged in ten minutes and it does sound like it. That is not a derogatory remark, I mean that there is nothing here that can be regarded as superfluous, and everything is simple, considered and necessary to the song. No flash musical egos at work just musicians that know the art of writing a good song. The Pogues always had something to say politically and here reference fall out of every line...
