Advantages: true to life Disadvantages: a bit long
The BreakUp is a movie I have wanted to see for a while because it has the lovely Vince Vaughn in it, and I wanted to see what his on-screen chemistry is like with Jennifer Aniston as they are going out in real life, despite attempts to cover up their romance. The movie has been pretty much slated by film critics, but as you all know, I don’t pay attention to the likes of them, I like to find out for myself, be it a waste of time or not….
Brooke (Aniston) and Gary (Vaughn) are a couple who met at a baseball game when his wise-cracking ways charmed her into accepting a hot-dog, then a date. They now live together, share their friends, their hobbies and their lives. Brooke works in an art gallery and Gary runs a tour bus with his brothers. The two carry on their stubborn behaviour ...

Advantages: Great acting, most people will be able to connect with the story Disadvantages: None

The film, hence the name, is about a couple who breakup and how it effects both of them as they are still living in the same home together while they wait to sell it. However, neither of them really wants to make way for the other so there are lots of comedy moments during the film and it isn't all serious! The film also follows how it affects their joint friends as normally the group of them do everything together and as you can imagine this suddenly is an awkward position to be in when you don't want to offend either one of the couple ...
