The Dykeenies are a Scottish Rock Band formed in 2005 that includes brothers Brian Henderson, Andrew Henderson and Alan Henderson with childhood friends Steven Ramsay and John Keer.
The bands origin is Cumbernauld in Scotland very near to the buzzing city of Glasgow. Their only releases with their present record label Lavolta Records have been an EP named Waiting for Go in 2006 and thier debut album Nothing Means Everything in 2007.

Advantages: Nearly 20 years of priceless pop history Disadvantages: One or two disposable corny moments
...Formed in 1959 as a backing outfit for singer Brian Poole, the Trems are still working the nostalgia circuit, albeit with several line-up changes and without founder member Alan Blakley who succumbed to cancer in 1996. If you want their (almost) complete history post-Poole in one package, look no further. This 51-track, low-price double album is indispensable for anyone who ever had a soft spot for 60s and 70s pop. While the title track, their version of a Paul McCartney song from the Beatles' "Revolver", never troubled the charts, they hit the ground running next time out with a good-time retread of Cat Stevens' "Here Comes My Baby", and then made No. 1 with the falsetto harmonies of "Silence Is Golden", which they took from a Four Seasons' B-side. ...When the Tremeloes parted company from original front man Brian Poole in 1966, they confounded expectations by enjoying far greater success as a self-contained group than he did as a soloist. This reissue follows their career during the subsequent year, from both sides of the single "Good Day Sunshine" (a Beatles song) to the end of 1967, including everything in between. The entire contents of the first two albums are here, 'Here Come the Tremeloes' and 'Chip, Dave, Alan, Rick', as well as three bonus B-sides and a previously unissued track, "On Love". While nobody, least of all the guys themselves, would claim that this was the cutting edge of British pop at the time, it shows that like many of their British contemporaries, they knew how to pick good songs to cover, such as "Run Baby Run" and "Loving You Is Sweeter Than Ever", could...
