What can i say! Pandit Ravi Shankarji is an absolute legend. Having met him twice I have had the experience of meeting a true guru of music. This cd is what you can really call world global fusion. Its a lovely blend of all sorts of music but it also has some indian classical tracks such as track 5 which happens to be my absolute favourite! i love it to bits. The whole thing is very well orchestrated. The music is also astheitically pleasing and there are some good on the go tracks for car/ train journeys! :D This cd is an amazing blend of indian modes and scales with western ideaology and orchestration but the combination is so well done that the result blows you away. I would definately reccomend this to anyone who is interested in world music. Also, it is great for people learning about orchestration or fusion.
