Advantages: Melodic, less punk than her last2albums.Vocally brilliant/lyrically stunning/musically unbeatable. Disadvantages: I cant think of ANY negative points and I have listened to this album for more than a decade!
To Bring You My Love is probably one of my most played albums since I first got it as a teenager! I really cant rate this album highly enough and the reason for this one being held in higher esteem than all her previous albums is simply that this album has a new found freedom the others dont seem to have.
Polly J Harvey split from Robert Ellis and Stephen Vaughn, which gave her the freedom to experiment and deviate from the old bluesy punk that dominated PJ Harvey's first two albums.
Although her previouos albums to this were very good and definitely a lot better than most of the bands around at that time, they seemed to focus too much on the harsh brutallity that punk is famed for (which is all good and well) but 'To Bring You My Love' gives a more complex theatrical variety of emotions to deal with. Bringing It All Back Home is one of the genuine, no question Must Own Bob Dylan records. It is his first "electric" album (although the final four tracks - Mr Tambourine Man, Gates Of Eden, It's Alright Ma I'm Only Bleeding and It's All Over Now Baby Blue - are all acoustic), it's stacked from one end to the other with some of the most recognisable, memorable and exhilarating of Dylan's compositions (no album that starts with Subterranean Homesick Blues and ends with It's All Over Now Baby Blue can be anything BUT a Must Own, surely), it's ridiculously exciting (if Maggie's Farm doesn't get you fired up of a morning or evening or afternoon, little will) and, lyrically, is never for a moment anything less than awe-inspiring.
Of the electric tracks, most hover around the filthy blues of the aforementioned Subterranean Homesick Blues ...
Advantages: Fun, increases baloance, fitness and tones muscles Disadvantages: Needs more games to be released for the balance boad
I went on holiday to Tenerife this July and had to bringback a Wii Fit as its sold out here in the UK Always!!!!
So the first bit of advice is - if you go to a European country and the box says pal on it then the Wii Fit is in English and plays on your Wii.
Its a great way to motivate yourself and have fun whilst getting fit. It does all sorts of things from telling you your BMI and what it should be to sking down a ski slope inb one of the fun games that tones your legs and improves balance.
Im 22 and i love it and i would recommend it for adults and for parents to buy their kids so they can still play their video games but get the exercise that you dont on other video games as this is more than just a game! ...
