Advantages: Used to be very funny so re runs are hillarious. Disadvantages: Gone a bit too conservative for me.
't as funny as he used to be.
Graham in the old days!
Back when the show was on channel 4, it was hillarious. Some of the things which he came out with on his show were both outrageous and hillarious, but I think he was very much an aquired taste in comedy, very camp and quite rude. He used to show "gadgets" which had come out that week, and alot of the time these would be sex toys and other funny things, and the stories he would talk about weren't the norm which you would have on This Morning over a cup of tea with biscuits!
Graham Now
Now the show is a little less raunchy, although some of the guests who come onto the show do get a bit naughty, but he has toned it down quite a lot, now maily plugging books, DVDs and CDs for the celebrities he has on the show, with a bit of general natter in between as you do ...
Advantages: Oh so heavenly! Disadvantages: They taste better on the second day, but they're so tempting!
I take my role as "housewife" very seriously. I'm so 1950s, it hurts. Anyway, home-baking has now become an integral part of my routine, and you'll always find fresh-baked cakes and biscuits in our kitchen. I have small children, and shudder with horror at all the additives shop-bought treats contain.
It's not good for my figure, but I'm saving my children from chemical nasties. That's how I'm justifying it anyway.
So, gingernut biscuits. I found this recipe fairly recently, and it's going down a storm in the Douthwaite household. It's too good to keep to myself, and it's so simple that even my three-year-old can do most of it (except the hot stuff. I'm not that irresponsible!). Plus, they only take 10 minutes to prepare and 15 minutes to cook, so you're in and out of the kitchen pretty quick. This is a real bonus for me - I love ...
Advantages: Tastes amazing! Disadvantages: Always get eaten by housemates before I get round to trying one!
As a child I absolutely loved cooking with my Mum. I have really clear memories of me standing on a chair against the kitchen side helping her makes cakes and buns. Sadly the older I got the less I used to cook, but when I went to university I got back into it. Lets face it?on a boring Sunday afternoon what is better than making loads of biscuits for your housemates (in fact I used them as a bribe to give me more time to pay my bills!!!) I love cooking any type of food, but biscuits offer the most satisfaction I would say! This recipe was first made by me and my Mum when I was four and is, lets face it, rather nostalgic. I have made it loads of times for my housemates and they love them, so I thought I would share it on here.
SPICY BISCUITS comes courtesy of my Mum and a mixture of many cooks books over the years. I found it ...
