Album Notes: After eight months in the belly, the Ill Na-Na returned with plenty of stress to get off her chest. Packed with memorable guest appearances, catchy radio-ready hooks, and hardcore street anthems, BROOKLYN'S DON DIVA sees the female MC return to the same level of mic command that she displayed on her debut. As always, Foxy's approach is aggressive and battle-hungry and her sex appeal and appetite for seduction constitute much of her boast-based lyricism, occupying the space that most testosterone-fueled rappers reserve for drug-sales, gun skills, and money stacks. Production comes courtesy of Street Radio, Jamal Doctor, Stereotype, Young Gavin, Will Fulton, Statik Selektah, and Fizzy Womack of M.O.P. AZ, Dwele, Mavado, Jay Rush, DeMarco, Morgan Heritage, Spragga Benz, Kira, Prinz, Lil Mo, and Grafh are featured.
Advantages: A couple of decent songs showcase the hungry Foxy of old Disadvantages: The "Lil Kim" persona creeps in; far too many guests; boring on many levels
...Okay, a quick recap.
FoxyBrown debuted on LL Cool J's "I Shot Ya Remix" WAYY back in 1996 and spit one of the hottest debut verses since Nas' "Live at the Barbeque" four years prior. Soon after, she locked up with Nas, Cormega, and AZ and formed The Firm, a shortlived group which dropped one album before going their own separate ways. After getting signed, she released Ill Na Na which got critical acclaim for being a good album, but also hurt her reputation because Jay-Z ghostwrote most of it. Yeah, that's a problem, but the album was still a nice piece of music... it's just not ALL her. Apparently Foxy wanted to prove the naysayers wrong and prove that she CAN indeed rap well, so she set to work on her second album. Then in 1999, Chyna Doll dropped into the mainstream. Fueled by the incredible sales of the hit single "Hot Spot...

Advantages: Good Classic Hip-Hop Songs Disadvantages: None
..., "Nowadays everybody wanna talk when they got something to say, but nothing comes out when they move their lips just a bunch of gibberish, and mother f's that coz they forgot about Dre."
Em goes on to rap about his so called 'violent' rapping about beating somebody up and burning down a house. Dre then finishes off the song with the same theme as the first verse - don't forget about him.
The tune to this song is a basic rap tune, and one of the most recognised hip-hop tunes in the world. Over 20 artists have used this tune on more than 50 songs.
●Beastie Boys - No Sleep Till Brooklyn●
Beastie Boys were one of the first groups, not 'bands', groups, to collaborate hip-hop/rap with rock, and thus created the genre of rap/rock. As they were a rap/rock group, they're songs were usually quite loud, and so as you can tell from...
