Advantages: Well arranged music Disadvantages: None
The acid jazz overtones of the BrandNewHeavies make them quite unlike any other band I have the fortune to have in my collection. You might never have heard of them, but it?s likely you know a couple of songs off this album, as they?re pretty well known. The two infinitely poppie tracks ? ?Dream On Dreamer? and ?Midnight At The Oasis? rose fairly high in the charts in the mid-90s, and while they are great tracks, there?s some much better tracks on the album. The instrumental tracks (?Ten Ton Take? and ?Snake Hips?) are perfect examples, as they are both excellent tracks without the need for vocals, such is the musical skill of the rest of the band. N?dea Davenport?s smooth vocals make all the difference however, and her vocal power transforms some tracks from something brilliant into something altogether more exciting. Personal ...
Advantages: Great drama show, secrets, lies Disadvantages: None
Families, drama, secrets and lies, what more could you want from a television show.!! Brothers and sisters is one of my favourite drama series out at the moment. It is shown in England on Channel 4 and more recently on E4. It first came out in September 2006 and as of September 2008 they are now in their third series. The DVD of the first series came out in February of this year.
It is an American drama series featuring the Walker family of California. They are a fairly well to do family who live in Pasadena, California, just near Los Angeles. We are introduced to the family at a birthday party. The patriarch and much loved figure of William Walker dies in spectacular fashion and things are never quite the same again. What looked liked a charmed life from the outside soon begins to crack and the secrets come pouring out. Nora Walkers ...
Paramore: BrandNew Eyes
Paramore
Paramore, used to be a quartet band, but for the new album they are officially now a quintet.
Paramore consist of
Hayley Williams
Zac Farro
Jeremy Davies
Josh Farro
Taylor York
Their first Debut album was ?All We Know Is Falling? which was released in 2005 it reached number 8 on the UK album chart. Then in 2007 Paramore followed that album up with their now extremely popular album called ?Riot!?
They may be young but they are incredible musicians and if you haven?t listened to them I suggest you give them a chance.

Careful 5/5
A brilliant start to a new album! When I first listened to this track I was confident that the rest of the album would be just as good. This track is one of my favourites, it starts with a build up, then goes into all the awesome ...

Album Reviews
Rolling Stone (4/7/94, p.74) - 3 Stars - Good - "...BROTHER SISTER, the band's second album, is not unlike its American debut three years ago: chock-full of '70s funk and soul references, with a bit of fusion jazz and '90s reverence for all that is old thrown in....What [N'Dea Davenport] brings...is an ease of execution and a keen sense of style. She is as fluid as the band is tight, as blase as the players are intent...." Musician (4/94, p.92) - "...BROTHER SISTER is a chunky, funky blast...N'Dea Davenport['s]...singing is far more compelling than before--alternately smooth and sassy...BROTHER SISTER is like a great party: lively, varied and good-humored..." NME (4/9/94, p.41) - 7 - Very Good - "...BROTHER SISTER is a fine album, as far as it goes. The upbeat vibe they're noted for floods out from the opening tune..."
