He loved the big bass, breakbeats, it was something he had never heard before but he loved it. He eagerly signed Tom and Ed to his record label. In 1994 they found critical acclaim by working with major artists of the time such as Manic Street Preachers. Their work was considered groundbreaking for the time and things really began to take off when they played their first live set. It was in this year they ditched the name "The Dust Brothers" and settled for "TheChemicalBrothers" instead.
1995 saw the release of their first album "Exit Planet Dust" it was rough, but excellent and they ahieved top 20 success with two of the singles. Again they worked with well-known artists ...

This CD was well worth the £12 I paid for it online. If you like the chemicalbrothers then it is a must buy as it has all their main hits over the last 10 years including star guitar, Hey Boy Hey Girl, Galvanise and many more. The edition I bought, and it is worth checking before you buy, came with an extra disc containing 10 electronic battle weapons (lesser known tracks and mixes) which are also good to listen to aswell.

On the limmited edition it has all the music videos on it as well! An excellent touch I think!
The cover is the only downside that I have found, it looks nice now but after time it's going to be a bit scruffy as it's made like a hard back book with no plastic covering. (*)
