Sinfonia Eroica

Advantages: A work that changed the way we look at symphonies
Disadvantages: none whatsoever

. When he was asked in 1817 to name his favourite symphony, Beethoven responded the Eroica (however that was when the Ninth was still to be written). Out of all Beethoven's symphonies, only No.9 is longer that the Eroica, and none (except perhaps No.7) is more boisterously heroic and optimistically forceful in it's overall message. Beethoven would evolve further from the Eroica, of course, but the importance of the work cannot be underestimated. It really opened the doors for the more extended symphonies like Schubert's "Great C major" or the symphonies of the Romantics following Beethoven's death. A magnificent work that continues to amaze! Celebration to the memory of a great man

Advantages: Dramatic, emotional music
Disadvantages: The introductory chords will wake you up

Ludwig van Beethoven was born on 16th December 1770 in Bonn, Germany and died in Vienna on 26th March 1827. The story of Beethovens deafness is well known. By the time he composed the ?Eroica?, he was already aware of some signs of hearing difficulties. Beethoven had a distict and individual musical style that encompassed elements of the traditional classical period and was innovative in introducing elements that were to become the Romantic period with emphasis on expressing personal feelings. Choral Symphony

Advantages: Choral Symphony
Disadvantages: Nothing

On the first time, The Nineth Symphony of Beethoven is kwoning like "Choral Symphony" because in the foursth and the last movement it is singing by a Tenor, Baritone, Soprano and Messo Soprano Voices with a Choral Voices that they are singing in another way the "joy song". This symphony (the last one) of Beethoven was released the May 7th of 1821 when he was a deaf person, so he never could listen his composition years at 3 or 4 years after Beethoven died. So it was his last composition, been for me the best compousers. In the first movement of this Symphony "Allegro ma non troppo" begining with the introduction of wind instrument like oboe and the violas and violin continues the music and then continues with this music specially the wind instrument with a hard musical notes that it is characteristic of this 15 minutes music.
