It's a ghostly tapestry of eerie echoes, distant sounds almost like whale songs, and interjected rifts representing the band that was playing even as the boat sank. Saturday morning and I'm nursing a nagging headache. Yes, Mrs P has a bit of a cold and I'm taking care of her. Be that as it may, I've taken some time out to quickly jot down my review of a beer I had the pleasure to drink last night.
The beer in question being Titanic White Star.
The Titanic Brewery has been around since 1985 and is named in honour of local man John Smith, who captained the ill-fated Titanic. Their range of beers include the somewhat truculently named, Lifeboat Ale, Iceberg and Wreckage. Some say that the Titantic beers go down well, but I would never sink to those depths just to get a cheap laugh.
THEY SAY:

), However, Titanic really centres around a love story between Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet, Jack being of the lowest class, winning his tickets for the voyage playing cards, while Rose being taken back home to be married off to save her family from bankruptcy.
Jack saves Rose from committing suicide and from then on their love blossoms, her preferring and choosing to be on the lower class part of the ship with Jack, drinking and singing, while at the same time leaving her fiancé (played by the delightful talented Billy Zane) on his own and in his light showing him up.
When the ship is sinking Rose and Jack try and get out alive but everything’s against them including Billy with a gun and it is at this time that we see some of the best special effects and site design ever made.
The acting is carried out extremely well ...

It was a birthday treat for my son to go to Liverpool, so with destination chosen we simply needed our hotel. Looking through the super break site we come across the Adelphi hotel, it was historically interesting; the hotel was built for the passengers of the Titanic and has been restored with great care (apparently).
So now to tell my tale of my visit to the Adelphi?
We arrived at Liverpool Lime street station and soon found the way out onto Lime Street, as we walked along the street our first impressions weren?t good. The city seemed dirty and run down and not inviting at all: We carried on walking and within a couple of minutes we had arrived at the hotel.
