I have to admit that I've liked Gregorian chantmusic ever since Ben in Butterflies (70's television programme) used to listen to it (yes, I really am that old!). It's great that ChantMusic For Paradise has been released and has done so well in the charts. The cover is a clear indication of how peaceful it is. Just lay down or play it in the background and feel the chill sweep over you. Another bonus is that it's not something that you can sing along to, so no chance of anyone spoiling it! Don't be put off if you've never heard of this type of music or think it is for old fogies, it isn't! Be brave, try something new and chillax...zzz ...
Advantages: Easy on the ear and suitable for all! Disadvantages: none
Beautiful music and chanting of the daily life and works of the monks ! It even has the bells tolling in the back and even as one track all in itself . Some may not like this however it gives us an insight to their world and how they live and that we too must stop at times each day to pray to rest to eat and so on.
Its fabulous cannot fault it, easy on the ears and just uplifting. Most of the music is Gregorian chant and its sung in latin which is something so unique and lovely. It has also been a huge success and you will understand when you listen to it, also great for playing while working around the house , due to it being so soothing and relaxing.
I would most definitely recommend it ...

There are 41 different example of Georgians Chants on the two CDs in this collection. All are ...
