Picture the scene..... Me 8 years old, blonde ringletts, auditioning for the school show, a tap dance and a grin, belting out Bugsy Malone routines after watching the film more times than I can count envying the whole cast for getting such fantastic roles. Skip forward 17 years, hair dyed black not the same girl, but 2 bars into this cd and I am transported straight back! You can't help but sing along, the lyrics are embedded deep into your brain, it's impossible to stop, the performers smile glued to your face as you do a now sexier version of the flapper girl dance and still gutted that you don't own a "splurge gun"! If you liked the film you'll love the soundtrack, perfect when you're alone so you can act like a fool, and relive your youth.
