Being quite a big fan of Green Day, I had to own this CD, and if your like me, you will probably be dying to own it as well. The thing is, if you have never seen or heard Green Day live, then you HAVE to buy this CD, but if like me, and you have seen them and heard them live countless times, then your better off looking elsewhere and buying into another band. The live performance is fantastic, every song is flawless, every lyric is sang as if it was taking straight off the album, but this isn't enough to win me over. The set list is poorly chosen. Songs 1-5 are straight from the American Idiot album, obviously aiming at all the new 'fans' to get them involved straight away. This is OK, but then this only leaves space for 7 songs from their back catalogue, which is incredibly frustrating for fans like me, who grew up with Dookie, Nimrod and Warning. The only highlight for me is a live performance of Time Of Your Life, arguably Green Day's best song from their older albums, and its good to see they finally acknowledge how much that song did for them and their career. The live sound quality is superb, the songs are played perfectly, and the crowd are clearly buzzing, but this just falls a bit flat. If you have to buy this CD, buy the one with DVD included as well. Otherwise, look elsewhere
