Advantages: Delicious! Disadvantages: Lack of nutritional information; expensive
a dreadful quantity of calories and they don't want to frighten the ladies! I had a quick look on their website and again I found no results! I consider this as a downside because nutritional information is important and should be available in every product.
The chocolate chunk
Mmm, I'm dubbing it chunk because it is a heavy and chunky piece of chocolate, one piece is around 23g, and God knows how much calories are in it! This 3D chocolate has a brownish colour, which indicates that it has milk in it. Nearly oval shaped topped with a steamy teacup and a butlers stamp on it. It is extremely tempting and it's beautifully created so I asked myself how about eating it . . . just this time and so I did and I wish that I didn't!
It was very stodgy and extremely sweet, I felt sick from the first bite so my advice to you is . . . "don ...
Advantages: Attractive packaging, attractive price point, simple to make. Disadvantages: Not chocolatey enough!!
Firstly, I would like to point out that although this product comes under the category of "Cocoa (Instant)", it is not cocoa - it is Hot Chocolate! That means that it is a drink made with "real" chocolate, not with cocoa powder.
I have mixed feelings about Butlers chocolates in general - I have tasted many of their products, and I love some of them, and am not so keen on others. So, it was with interest that I tried this new product. It has only just become available here in Ireland, I am not sure you can buy it in the UK as yet.
First things first - the box itself is very attractive. It is a rich chocolatey brown colour with the Butlers logo in gold, and a photo of a pair of hands holding a teacup with a delicious looking chocolate drink in the cup, and a piece of the chocolate that you find inside dropping into the drink ...
Advantages: mature, inventive, beautiful and emotional Disadvantages: really can't think of any!
the listener satisfied.
Richard Butler's trademark voice - that 60 a day rasp - is a revelation as he demonstrates a much more tender and intimate side to his singing. His untrained croon is enormously affecting and capable of really drawing the listener into the songs.
"Maybe Someday" is one of the highlights, with it's hope filled lyrics and the magnificent "Nothing's Wrong" stands as the centrepiece to this marvellous album. But every track is a winner. The opening "Good Days, Bad Days" sets the scene with a very gradual layering of instruments throughout the song to a lovely triumphant conclusion.
I've had this album since it was released and it has become one of those rare records that can be returned to again and again, whichever mood you are in, and it never, ever becomes dull.
Treasure this album. I will. ...
