This has to be one of my favourite Mariah albums. With 14 tracks it is a lengthy CD, each song unique from the last and fantastic in its own right.
It includes many of her hits, such as 'Honey', the haunting 'My All', and the beautifiul cover of 'Whenever You Call'. My absolute favourite on this album would have to be her rendition of 'The Beautiful Ones' which features Sisqo. This track is performed better than the original (which I never thought I'd say) - it is completely outstanding. I have had this particular track on 'repeat' several times.
The lyrics of each song are whistful and deep in meaning, as with all of Mariah's penned songs. She shows her range to its full potential and gives her all on this CD - that is evident.
Out of all of Mariah's CD's, I would recommend this most highly. It is outstanding and shows Mariah at her finest.
