Advantages: Easy to remove Disadvantages: Hard to apply, smudges, clumpy, gloopy
The credit crunch is sadly having an effect on my make-up bag. On my most recent shopping trip to Boots, I needed new mascara but instead of heading to the lovely, glossy premium brand counters, I headed to the more economical looking brands. In the past when my purse has been somewhat light, I?ve always gone for Rimmel mascaras as I find they do the job satisfactorily. This time however, in my bargain-hunting mode, I spotted Boots 17 VaVa Voom Mascara for the same price - £5.86 for 8ml ? but with a free eyeshadow palette. SOLD!
I can most certainly say that if it wasn?t for the fact that I was on such a tight budget, I would never have even noticed this mascara. The packaging is cheap and tacky looking; it has a chunky black tube with silver and purple writing and patterns all over it. The lid has silhouettes of people dancing ...
Advantages: Great all round chair Disadvantages: None
When my 4 month old little boy tipped him bouncer seat up for the thrid time, due to his size, I decided that would have to get on the internet and the Argos catalogue out and get him a highchair.
Despite all the available chairs stating that they are all suitable from 6 months to 3 years I decidede to use my own descretion as a mother and buy him one.
I opted for the Chicco happy snack highchair due to the fact that it was a great price and the seat also reclined to 2 further positions aswell as the upright position.
The highchair has a very sturdy metal frame which measures 27 inches high from floor to the bottom of the seat. the width is 18 inches and when opened out the depth of the legs spans 30 inches.
The seat measures approximately 17 inches high and 14 inches wide, it is also approximately 10 inces deep.

My 2 year old setter is still a work in progress as far as training goes. We have done the rounds of puppy and dog training and have the certificates to prove it! However he is still not reliable at coming back when called. Having a tasty treat in my pocket certainly helps to persuade him to return to me, his so called pack leader! In Tesco recently I spotted a plastic container of Bakers happy walks on sale. As they were on offer for under £1 I decided to buy a box.
Bakers happy walks come in a white plastic flip top container. They are the perfect size to fit in a pocket. On pulling back the foil seal I was struck by the very strong smell! It wasn?t unpleasant just a very powerful meaty smell, the kind my dog loves! Each treat looks like a very small roll about the size of a cigarette stub. Inside the roll is a darker layer of meat ...
