Advantages: Maps! Yay. Black Tongue! Double yay! Fun to listen to, catchy songs, bonus track Disadvantages: Some of the songs sound kind of the same
...to like ‘chow down’ but that’s the only way I can type the noises she makes.
And I thought the previous track was short! Man comes in at 1:49, an incredibly short time for a song. It begins with Karen saying that she’ll “count it off” and proceeds to say "1,2,3, go!” This song is another enjoyable track with Karen’s entertaining additions to the song. The lyrics are very interesting too. “I got a man who makes me wanna kill” and “I got a man who makes me wanna die/ We’re all gonna burn in hell/ I said we’re all gonna burn in hell/ Cause we do what we gotta do/ We will/ And we got the fever to tell.” And there’s your album title.
Tick is the next song, also 1:49. What’s with these short songs? Well anyway, this song is another fast paced song, with Karen saying “You make me/ You make me/ You make me/ Tick tick tick tick tick tick tick...

Advantages: Special Edition features Date with the Night CD-ROM video Disadvantages: Er, there aren't another twenty songs on it?
...The first time I heard Maps I thought it was one of the best songs I'd ever heard. It took me another three years to acquire Fever to Tell, and now I think that's one of the best albums I've ever heard.

Boy you're just a stupid bitch and girl you're just a no good dick" could be so a) catchy and b) uplifting?
I'm so spoilt for choice with stand-out songs I just don't know what to do with myself. Aside from Maps, there's Pin (yet more unexpectedly genius lyrics - "bom, bom, bom, bom, bom, bom, bom, bom, da-da da, da-da da") and Date with the Night...

Advantages: Good Dance Style, Some Very Modern Tracks, Good Voice. Disadvantages: Some Weird Songs.
....

Kylie is classed as pop music with a dance twist. That is exactly how I would describe this album; it’s more mainstream but has some very good dance elements shoved in there making it much more appealing and likeable. For some reason I wouldn’t really dream of purchasing Kylie music but from what I had heard this was one I had to listen to, and I am glad I did purchase it in the end.
My brother is quite a big fan of Miss Minogue and from what I had heard Light years was a pretty tough act to follow but I think she has succeeded in a pretty big way. Fever is made in a similar style but with probably more appealing elements...
