Advantages: Murray Golds Best Work Disadvantages: Nothing I can think of
...With once again Murray Gold scoring this music is it any wonder that this would be a success? He always puts his passion and love into his music and this album is no difference.
With music from nearly every episode of Series 3 of Doctor Who this is like re-living each episode but in music form. Each and every song represents the Doctor Who genre like a heart represents love!
Just as the first Murray Gold Doctor who soundtrack it starts with the same wondering music of series 1 when we are looking down from space onto earth and then focus into see rose for the first time but we go into the series trailer music which has become to represent the series. Advantages: Lots of lovely versions of some Porter Classics Disadvantages: A couple of bad notes, and if you don't like Porter, you won't want this album

First of all...

Advantages: A Well put together Best of Disadvantages: No Beanfields

This is taken a step further, all greatest hits albums have a few "exclusive" tracks not available on any other of their albums , just so you have to buy it, so does this. Nineteen pieces from their first album in 1976 up to 1996. There are three versions of "Music For A Found Harmonium", the opener by PCO , one by folk instrumentalist Patrick Street, and one an ambient remix by the Orb from 1996 called Pandaharmonium (these are the "exclusive extras"). ALl are brilliant. The liner notes also tell the story of how the tune came about, and there's a transcription of the music in there. The album also contains "Perpetuum Mobile" and "Telephone and a Rubber Band...
