Advantages: alot of popular songs from 2005, a good mixture
Disadvantages: quite commercial on the first two CD's

...Love this album, if you went to Ibiza in summer 2005 you would to, or if you just love the music. The main part i like is the seperation of funky house on one CD, chilled house on another and classic house tunes on another. However the CD is quite commerical house tunes, so not for people who like their bit of electro and hard house. Some good classic tunes from that year and an album you don't get bored of. Incluing some tunes from Axwell, Joey negro, and includes the classic songs, 'your body', 'love on my mind', 'feel the vibe' and 'I see girls' from 2005, played frequently in that year, in capones, play 2 and sgt peppers if anyone went to those that year. Where as the chilled out songs are taken more from cafe mambo and cafe del mar in the early hours of sunset or sunrise. A nice CD to add to your collection, packed full... Read review

...Jose padilla has done it again, brought such diverse tracks together in harmony to make us lesser mortals feel good about everything. This sadly was to be Jose's last compilation in the cafe del mar series, as i have said before, this is where i stopped buying these cd's. For me no one else could put them together in the same fashion. I started reviewing this series with the first offering and have now jumped to the last, I hope to find the time to review the rest soon, but i have fishy presure at work at the moment (if you read my last review you'll understand!!) So here we are, number six and the last stage of the journey Jose has taken us on. Through the six years these cd's have been produced my musical horizons have been ever deepend, and my mind and soul soothed by the heavenly sounds contained within. I will put the track listing... ...Well i'm back reviewing the Cafe del mar series as promised, this time I am dealing with volume 3. This cd was put together during the summer of 1996, in Ibiza at the Cafe del mar, Which for any one that doesn't know, is a world famous cafe-cum-club known for its chill-out themes and generally having a nice time, relaxing and being relaxed. Its a haven for taking time out at, and many a clubber would have visited here during their stay in Ibiza. As you have come to expect, there is a wide mix of music on these cd's, on this volume though, there is nothing wildly different, the tracks seem to flow into one another, Im not sure if this realy works, all the other compilations have something different on them that wakes you up and makes you sit up and listen, but here there is none of that, you realy could fall to sleep listening...
