Advantages: Twelve feel-good songs with catchy lyrics Disadvantages: None
...I first came across Sara Bareilles a few months ago while I was looking at my friend's Myspace profile who lives in Los Angeles. I noticed that the song was Love Song by Sara Bareilles. I had never heard of her before but really liked Love Song.
She is really well known in America but had not yet made her debut in the UK yet. A few months later, around April time, I heard Love Song on my local radio station. I then realised that her song's were now gracing the shores of the United Kingdom.
Little Voice, which is her debut album, was released on 16th June, two months after her first UK single Love Song was released. Love Song has peaked at number 5 in the UK charts up to now and has proved to be a big summer hit.
Little Voice has a total of twelve tracks.

...I can't resist writing a review about all that is from my home country Portugal as Sara Tavares is a beautiful Portuguese singer, composer and guitarist, here is my brief review:
Born Cape Verdean, Sara grew up between two cultures (Sara Tavares was raised by an older Portuguese woman when her Cape Verdean parents left her to search for a better life). Despite residing in Lisbon, she does not forget her Cape Verdean origins.
Sara Tavares was only 16 years old when she won two of Portugal's most prestigious TV music contests:
Tavares won the 1993/1994 final of the song contest Chuva de Estrelas(stars in they're eyes) and the Portuguese Television Song Contest final in 1994, consequently earning a place the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, with the song "Chamar a Música"
Her second album 'Mi Ma Bô', produced by Parisian Lokua Kanza...

...Well i'm back reviewing the Cafe del mar series as promised, this time I am dealing with volume 3. This cd was put together during the summer of 1996, in Ibiza at the Cafe del mar, Which for any one that doesn't know, is a world famous cafe-cum-club known for its chill-out themes and generally having a nice time, relaxing and being relaxed. Its a haven for taking time out at, and many a clubber would have visited here during their stay in Ibiza.
As you have come to expect, there is a wide mix of music on these cd's, on this volume though, there is nothing wildly different, the tracks seem to flow into one another, Im not sure if this realy works, all the other compilations have something different on them that wakes you up and makes you sit up and listen, but here there is none of that, you realy could fall to sleep listening...
